Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager in Virginia to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, staff development, and delivering a friendly, efficient customer experience. Training is provided; automotive experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• 6 months’ experience leading or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach team members.
• Reliable transportation to and from your work location.

Responsabilités

• Complete Certified Technician training.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service, respond to customer needs, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and consistently while reinforcing company procedures, safety requirements, and service standards.
• Support shop performance by identifying opportunities for improvement and taking on additional leadership responsibilities when the Shop Manager is unavailable.
• Train new team members, provide real-time coaching and feedback, reinforce expectations, and recognize strong performance.
• Perform all Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
