Job summary

VIP Tires & Service in Presque Isle, ME seeks an Assistant Manager to support the Service Manager in delivering a different and better customer experience at our location. As second in command, you will lead the team, uphold VIP processes, and ensure safe, compliant operations throughout the workday.

You will help develop a strong team, ensure LMS and vendor trainings are completed, and coordinate dispatch while maintaining high standards of safety and service quality for every customer.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience in automotive service management.
• Completion of a two-year college or technical school program is recommended.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and ensure safety is priority and policies are followed.
• Engage customers and educate them on vehicle conditions per MPI inspection.
• Achieve strong SAX scores through VIP processes.
• Assist Service Manager in developing a superior team and training.
• Coordinate work order assignments and monitor daily communications.
• Ensure facility and equipment meet safety and cleanliness standards.
