Job summary

Regency Furniture seeks an Assistant Sales Manager to lead the showroom floor while continuing to sell and earn commissions.

You will coach team members, assist with closing opportunities, and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. Lead by example in service, product knowledge, and selling, as you work with the Sales Manager and Store Manager to drive performance and a customer‑focused showroom.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience required.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, energetic, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail hours.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in customer service, product knowledge, selling, and closing.
• Coach and encourage sales associates to stay focused on goals and customer needs.
• Assist team members with sales opportunities and closing strategies.
• Share product knowledge and effective selling techniques.
• Help create a positive, competitive, customer-focused showroom environment.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new and existing associates.
• Support promotions, financing programs, and company sales initiatives.
• Help address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
• Assist the Sales Manager and Store Manager with sales-floor leadership and daily execution.
• Participate in ongoing sales and leadership training.
