Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager in Minnesota to support the General Manager in daily operations and guest satisfaction. You will guide staff, ensure safety, and help drive profitability in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, cash handling, and maintaining standards across food preparation and service, with opportunities for growth through the development pathway.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a supervisory role, preferably in food service.
• Must communicate effectively with employees, guests and vendors.
• Able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.”

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower.
• Achieve planned profit levels while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash, credit, gift cards and related payment responsibilities.
• Assist in staffing development and training of employees, including new hires.
• Support General Manager in recruitment, training, and orientation.
• Attend University of Perkins and complete coursework.
• Maintain ServSafe certification.
• Assist in all restaurant functions as needed.
• Ensure menu items are prepared and presented to standards.
• Monitor food temperatures to minimize risk factors.
• Schedule and staff to meet productivity and service standards.
• Maintain facility and equipment through preventive maintenance and safety measures.
• Manage inventory levels and ordering procedures for food and non-food items.
• Identify and correct system issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Prepare and review financial reports including payroll and costs.
