Job summary

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers® is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Leader to support the Restaurant Leader in daily operations, uphold Cane’s standards and culture, and lead a fast-paced team in a busy kitchen and dining area.

This role requires hands-on management, scheduling, payroll, coaching, cash handling, and ensuring safety and cleanliness, with a focus on delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership and coaching experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Hires and terminates hourly crewmembers.
• Owns onboarding, status changes and payroll for hourly staff.
• Creates crewmember work and training schedules.
• Manages performance including coaching and documentation.
• Acts as manager on duty; opens and closes the restaurant.
• Manages cash handling and accountability.
• Enforces company policies and safety standards.
• Executes shift management meetings and records results.
• Provides outstanding customer service; recognizes staff performance.
• Ensures cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
