Job summary

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Leader to support the Restaurant Leader in daily operations and uphold Cane’s standards and culture.

In this role you will hire and develop hourly crew, manage onboarding and payroll, and ensure smooth shift execution. The position requires strong organizational skills, customer service excellence and the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized with ability to manage multiple priorities that may constantly change.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Able to analyze problems, set goals, create plans and execute actions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and adapt to new systems.

Responsibilities

• Hires and terminates all hourly, non-management crewmembers.
• Owns onboarding, status change and payroll for hourly crewmembers.
• Creates crewmember work and training schedules.
• Manages performance through coaching, documentation and feedback.
• Acts as manager on duty and opens/closes the restaurant.
• Manages cash handling and ensures accountability.
