Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties (ELS) in Arcadia, FL, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Property Manager and serve as a liaison with residents and guests. You will handle maintenance coordination, administrative tasks, and daily office operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of on-site property management, strong customer service and scheduling skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of on-site property management experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating schedules and appointments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions and complaints in a timely manner.
• Contact tenants to address issues requiring immediate attention.
• Schedule maintenance calls and generate work orders.
• Order inventory and obtain estimates for repairs.
• Process new applications for long-term residency, including background checks.
• Assist Activities team with hiring entertainment, purchasing supplies and managing ticket sales for events.
• Manage the petty cash account, accounts payable and receivable, credit card reconciliations, cash reconciliations and bank deposits.
• Manage calendars and perform general administrative tasks.
