Job summary

Equity Lifestyle Properties (ELS) in Spring Valley, California is hiring an Assistant Manager to support the Property Manager and serve as a liaison between the office, guests and residents on maintenance and other issues.

The role involves responding to inquiries, scheduling maintenance, processing applications, coordinating events, and handling financial reconciliations. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 3+ years of on-site property management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of on-site property management experience.
• Strong customer service experience and basic knowledge of building structures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions and complaints in a timely manner.
• Contact tenants to address issues requiring immediate attention.
• Schedule maintenance calls and generate work orders for repairs.
• Order inventory and obtain estimates for repairs.
• Process new applications for long-term residency, including background checks.
• Assist Activities Team with hiring entertainment, purchasing supplies and managing ticket sales for events.
• Manage petty cash, accounts payable/receivable, credit card and bank reconciliations.
• Manage calendars and perform general administrative tasks.
