Barrett & Stokely is a Fort Wayne, IN based real estate investment and management firm seeking a Leasing/Property Assistant for full-time, on-site work. You will assist the Property Manager in directing staff, handling leases, rent collection, and move-in inspections to ensure high resident satisfaction.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and 2 years in multi-family management or related fields, with proficiency in MS Office and Entrata.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Two years related experience in multi-family management, leasing, sales or customer service.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management processes; proficiency with property management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager in leading staff to deliver high resident service.
• Collect and post rent, process late payments, issue notices and initiate eviction when needed.
• Assist with financial and operational reporting.
• Generate renewal offers and manage returned offers and leases.
• Inspect apartments for move-in readiness and complete required paperwork.
