Job summary

Barrett & Stokely, a real estate investment and management firm based in Indianapolis, seeks a full-time Leasing/Property Operations professional to assist the Property Manager in delivering excellent resident services and efficient property operations at 82 Flats - Indianapolis, IN 46240.

You will handle rent collection, lease drafting, renewals, and move-in inspections, while maintaining compliance with Fair Housing laws and maintaining accurate records in Entrata and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years related experience in multi-family management, leasing, sales or customer service; or equivalent.
• Knowledge of multifamily property management practices, Fair Housing laws, maintenance, resident relations, leasing, rent collection, eviction procedures, accounting principles and property software.
• Strong customer service abilities and verbal/written communication skills.
• Self-starter with excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Entrata software.
• Professional demeanor with owners, residents, prospects, coworkers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager in leading staff to provide high level of service to residents.
• Collect and post rent, process late payments, issue late notices, and initiate eviction when needed.
• Assist Property Manager with financial and operational reporting.
• Generate renewal offers, track returned offers and draft leases after received.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in to ensure units are ready for new residents and complete all paperwork.
• Input daily resident information from walk-ins, move-ins/outs and apartment conditions.
• Comply with local ordinances, state and federal laws including Fair Housing.
