Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. in Davie, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Property Manager in all aspects of property management, acting as liaison between our office guests and residents regarding maintenance and other issues.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years of on-site property management, with strong customer service skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• 3+ years of on-site property management experience.
• Strong customer service and basic knowledge of building structures.
• Experience coordinating and scheduling appointments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based applications and financial systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize guest needs.
• Detail-oriented with valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to questions and complaints in a timely manner.
• Contact tenants to address issues that require immediate attention.
• Schedule maintenance calls and generate work orders for repairs.
• Order inventory and obtain estimates for repairs.
• Process new applications for long-term residency, including background checks.
• Assist Activities team with hiring entertainment and managing events.
• Manage petty cash, accounts payable/receivable, credit card reconciliations, cash reconciliations and bank deposits.
• Manage calendars and perform general administrative tasks.
