Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking an Assistant Operating Director (AOD) to serve as the Operating Director’s second-in-command and lead in-office operations. You will oversee scheduling, staff support, and client care quality while ensuring strong communication with Home Base.

The role emphasizes developing people, coaching staff, and maintaining Cornerstone's standards and culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in management, leadership operations, or human resources.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience hiring, recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
• Leadership experience within healthcare or home care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the OD’s primary in-office partner and support daily operations.
• Lead, coach, and support in‑office staff and culture.
• Onboard and train new office managers for consistency.
• Conduct weekly 1:1 check-ins, reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Share on‑call rotation with office leadership.
• Oversee administrative workflow including payroll notes and shift verification.
• Maintain documentation aligned with policies and state requirements.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding steps, and staff oversight.
