Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving in Omaha is seeking an Assistant Operating Director (AOD), a key leadership role and second-in-command to the Operating Director. You will lead in-office operations, oversee scheduling, support staff development, and ensure high-quality client care and communications with Home Base.

You will coach, onboard, and train office managers, conduct weekly check-ins, and help with recruiting and staffing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent acceptable.
• 2+ years of management or leadership operations experience.
• Experience hiring, recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
• Healthcare or home care leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-office operations and scheduling oversight.
• Coach and support in-office staff; reinforce Cornerstone’s standards and culture.
• Onboard and train new office managers; conduct weekly check-ins.
• Oversee administrative workflow, payroll notes, shift verification, and quality updates.
• Manage client scheduling operations and respond to escalations with empathy.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding steps, and staff oversight to support growth.
