Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving in Hazleton, PA is seeking an Assistant Operating Director (AOD), a key leadership role and the second-in-command to the Operating Director. This position leads in-office operations, scheduling, staff support, client care quality, and communications with Home Base.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in management, is autonomous, and can onboard staff while upholding Cornerstone’s standards. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in management or leadership operations.
• Experience hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
• Healthcare or home care leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-office operations and scheduling oversight.
• Coach and develop in-office staff and maintain Cornerstone standards.
• Oversee client care quality and respond to escalations with empathy.
• Coordinate recruiting onboarding steps and staff growth as the company expands.
