Job summary

Jersey Mike's Renton is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations and building a positive, high-performing team.

You will coach and develop staff, assist with hiring and training, and ensure top-quality food, cleanliness, and guest service while monitoring labor and costs. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or customer service.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with the General Manager to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members through positive leadership.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Lead shifts while maintaining Jersey Mike's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and guest service.
• Monitor labor, productivity, and food quality throughout each shift.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving deliveries, and controlling food costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company operating standards.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and create positive resolutions.
• Support scheduling, daily operations, and restaurant performance goals.
• Open and close the restaurant as needed.
