Jersey Mike's is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, leading a positive, high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will coach, develop, and mentor staff, help with hiring and training, and ensure food safety, quality, and service standards across shifts. This role emphasizes accountability, growth, and a team-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with the General Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members through positive leadership.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Oversee shifts, maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and service standards.
• Monitor labor, productivity, and food costs across shifts.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving deliveries, and cost controls.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation per company standards.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve them positively.
• Support scheduling, daily operations, and performance goals.
• Open and close the restaurant as needed and lead by example.
