Job summary

Jersey Mike's Redmond Way is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, building a high-performing team and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will coach, onboard, and train staff, lead shifts, monitor costs and quality, and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met. This role offers growth opportunities in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant leadership or supervisory experience.
• Flexible availability mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food safety certification may be required and provided through training.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations with the General Manager to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members through positive leadership.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Manage shifts while upholding Jersey Mike's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
• Monitor labor, productivity, and food quality throughout shifts.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving deliveries, and controlling food costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company operating standards.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and drive positive resolutions.
• Support scheduling, daily operations, and restaurant performance goals.
• Open and close the restaurant as needed.
• Lead by example and foster a positive, team-first culture.
