Jersey Mike's is hiring an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in running daily restaurant operations and building a high-performing team. You will coach, onboard, and train staff while upholding Jersey Mike's standards for food quality and service.

You will lead shifts, monitor labor and costs, manage inventory, and ensure food safety compliance. This role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or customer service environment preferred.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and develop others while maintaining standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations with the General Manager.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Lead shifts and uphold food quality, cleanliness, and guest service.
• Monitor labor, productivity, and food quality across shifts.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and operating standards.
