Jersey Mike's is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in delivering daily restaurant operations and building a high-performing team. You will coach staff, support hiring and training, and ensure top guest experiences while upholding Jersey Mike's standards for quality and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day restaurant operations with the General Manager to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members through positive leadership.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
• Lead shifts while maintaining Jersey Mike's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
• Monitor labor, productivity, and food quality throughout each shift.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving deliveries, and controlling food costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and operating standards.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and create positive resolutions.
• Support scheduling, daily operations, and restaurant performance goals.
• Open and close the restaurant as needed.
• Lead by example and foster a positive, accountable, team-first culture.
