Job summary

Imagine in Minneapolis is seeking an Assistant Manager of Exhibit and Retail Operations to lead daily venue operations, guest service, and retail performance. The role supports cast members, upholds safety, and steps into GM duties in the GM's absence.

You will drive sales through effective POS handling, inventory control, staff training, and attention to guest experience, while maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency across the venue.

Qualifications

• Experience managing all aspects of an entertainment venue.
• Able to lead a team toward guest service excellence and revenue goals.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Experience overseeing retail store operations and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Administers day-to-day venue operations, planning, development, and guest experience.
• Manages sales and inventory via POS, processes transactions, upsells products.
• Oversees product displays and supports in a sales environment.
• Ensures efficient queuing and crowd flow for safety and experience.
• Assists in hiring, training, and staff execution of guest service and sales.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization to exceed guest expectations.
• Addresses guest service concerns promptly and professionally.
• Handles daily sales reporting, cost control, and payroll tasks.
• Manages retail stocking and merchandising.
• Reports upsells and package offerings to boost revenue.
• Supervises technical and scenic needs and documents challenges.
• Manages all cash on-site and records deposits daily.
• Communicates venue, exhibit, guest service, retail, and brand issues with management.
• Ensures guest, cast, venue, and asset safety.
• Drives the venue team to exceed guest expectations and efficiency.
• Responds professionally to online and in-person inquiries.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
