Planet Fitness in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a true Judgement Free experience while driving club profitability.

You will lead front desk activities, recruit and coach staff, ensure superior customer service, and maintain cleanliness. Full-time role with flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; compensation includes benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others and commitment to excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests with superior service.
• Supervise staff and assist Club Manager as needed.
• Schedule and supervise staff; oversee member service at front desk.
• Address member questions, issues, and requests and ensure cleanliness.
• Assist with supplies, budgeting, and reporting; provide backup coverage.
