Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee gym operations and ensure a premier Judgement Free Zone experience while driving club profitability. The role is full-time, averaging 40 hours per week, with potential evenings, weekends and holidays to support business needs.

Responsibilities include sales, staff recruitment and training, member services oversight, and coordinating front desk and facility maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others and delivering great service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
• CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Assist in recruiting, training and developing a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and supervise staff.
• Oversee front desk activities including check-ins and tours.
• Track statistics and reports weekly, monthly, and annually.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
