Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a high-energy, Judgement Free experience. The role requires managing a team, guiding member interactions, and supporting overall club performance.

The position is full-time with a schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs. Candidates should be ready to train and lead a team in a fast-paced fitness environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must demonstrate a passion for helping others and delivering excellent service.
• Former management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and develop staff.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure superior customer service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and supervise staff scheduling.
• Oversee front desk activities: check-ins, tours, inquiries.
• Address member requests, issues and questions; ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
