Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and deliver a superior Judgement Free experience. The role requires full‑time commitment, travel may be needed, and you will support a high performing team across front desk, training, and maintenance tasks.

You will lead staffing, ensure excellent member service, and contribute to club targets while maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others and commitment to excellent service.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills; prior management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, contribute to club monthly and yearly goals.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests with superior customer service.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and assist with staff scheduling.
• Oversee front desk activities: greet, check-in, tours, and information.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the facility within budget.
• Track weekly, monthly and annual statistics and reports.
