Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee gym operations and ensure a high-energy, Judgement Free environment for members. You will lead staff, support the Club Manager, and drive the member experience with effective scheduling, training, and front desk oversight.

The role requires commitment to excellent service, strong communication, and the ability to work a full-time schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for helping others and delivering excellent service.
• Previous management experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to club targets.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high-performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests and ensure superior service.
• Supervise staff and provide backup support to Club Manager.
• Schedule and supervise staff; oversee front desk activities and member check-ins.
• Answer phones, give tours to prospective members, and process new sign-ups.
• Facilitate member requests and ensure cleanliness and facility upkeep.
• Order supplies, track club statistics, and generate routine reports.
