SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in Norfolk, Nebraska to support the General Manager and lead drive-in operations. You’ll train and coach crew members, manage shift performance, and ensure quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions; multi-tasking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches team/crew, carhops and skating carhops.
• Directs and assigns employees to meet operating standards.
• Adheres to employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory and food cost control; completes weekly inventory.
• Maintains documentation and records; supports administrative tasks.
• Reinforces customer service mindset and responds to guest requests promptly.
