Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in the United States. You will support the General Manager in operating the drive-in, train staff, and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient dining experience.

You will supervise team members, manage shifts, and uphold Sonic standards to deliver great guest experiences. The role requires strong leadership, ability to train others, and a customer-focused approach to daily operations, including inventory and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team/Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive-in employees to meet service standards.
• Adheres to employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory and food-cost control.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Maintains files, records and required documentation.
• Reinforces customer-service mindset and handles guest requests.
