Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to help the General Manager oversee daily drive-in operations, training and supporting crew members, and ensuring safe, clean, and high‑quality food service. Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or 1 year entry level retail management.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication, basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems.
• Follow directions and work with autonomy once given; ability to multi-task.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support team members including carhops and shift leaders.
• Open/close duties and monitor staffing and inventory.
• Ensure food quality, safety and cleanliness standards.
• Address guest needs and resolve concerns promptly.
