Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Fremont, NE is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in operating the drive-in, training staff, and delivering a clean, safe, and efficient guest experience. The role involves coaching crews, directing staffing, and ensuring policies are followed to maintain quality food service.

Qualifications

Prior experience as restaurant assistant manager or supervisor is desirable.
Experience with opening/closing duties is expected.
Familiarity with food safety, cleanliness and safety policies is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage, train, monitor and coach Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
Direct and assign staff to meet operational standards for food service.
Adhere to employee handbook, policies and practices.
Perform restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
Monitor staffing levels, inventory and food cost control; complete weekly inventory.
Assist with administrative tasks including filing and documentation.
Foster a customer-service mentality and ensure guests are served promptly.
Resolve guest concerns by escalating to the supervisor when needed.
