Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Norfolk to lead daily operations and manage a fast-paced team. You will uphold brand standards, train staff, schedule shifts, and monitor performance while driving guest satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Lead the team in training, scheduling, and performance management for the Managing Partner.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect the brand.
