Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is hiring an Assistant Manager in Kayenta, AZ. You will assist the General Manager in overseeing drive-in operations, training staff, and ensuring food quality in a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

You’ll lead team members, monitor staffing and inventory, and handle administrative duties while maintaining a focus on exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Six months of restaurant management (QSR) or one year of entry-level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication, basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work autonomously while multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support other employees to ensure quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet operational standards.
• Perform restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitor staffing, inventory, and food cost; complete weekly inventory as needed.
• Maintain required files, records, and documentation.
• Reinforce customer service focus and promptly respond to guest requests.
