SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in Tempe, AZ to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations. You will train and coach team members, supervise guest service, and help maintain quality food, safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Restaurant management experience (QSR) or 1 year entry-level retail management.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy; multitask and solve problems.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in restaurant operations.
• Train and coach Team/Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service standards; monitor inventory and food cost.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties; ensure safety, cleanliness and quality.
• Reinforce a customer service mindset and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Assist with administrative tasks and documentation.
