Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Show Low, AZ is hiring a General Manager to lead a fast-paced drive-in team and deliver top-tier guest experiences. You will train staff, schedule shifts, manage inventory, and uphold safety and quality standards to drive sales and profitability.

You will oversee crew and management, implement marketing plans, and ensure compliance with all regulations while maintaining an engaging, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business/restaurant management preferred.
• Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred) or supervisory experience.
• Ability to work a minimum 5 day workweek with irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of recruiting/interviewing practices and labor laws (federal/state/local).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities; basic accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach crew, carhops, and management team to meet service standards.
• Plan and supervise staffing, schedules, and shift coverage.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and daily operational reports.
• Monitor inventory and place orders within cost controls.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
