Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to support the maintenance supervisor and uphold the property’s physical integrity. You will help manage resident service requests, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety standards are followed in accordance with company policies.

This role requires a minimum of two years in apartment maintenance or a related trade, a high school diploma, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years of full‑time apartment maintenance or related trade experience.
• EPA refrigerant certification, transition and recovery preferred.
• Strong English communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Must own basic hand tools and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist maintenance supervisor and manage on‑call duties as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.
• Maintain safety, records, and prepare for inspections.
