Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or related trade.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certification.
• Strong verbal and written English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance.
• Willingness to travel within metro areas with possible overnight stays.
• Ability to work some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Manage system for handling service requests and schedule on-call rotation.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with policies and laws (ADA, Fair Housing, OSHA).
• Assist in distributing flyers and other materials.
• Keep safety materials current and identify unsafe conditions.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance, service requests, and make-ready status.
• Schedule and perform minor maintenance on equipment; inspect tools.
• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC and related systems.
• Handle on-call duties and standby emergency schedules.
• Assist in preparing the property for inspections.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by property manager or regional supervisor.
