Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance who assists the maintenance supervisor and helps keep the property in good repair. Responsibilities include responding to resident service requests and assisting in safety, preventive maintenance, and make-ready tasks.

Applicants should have at least two years of apartment maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and basic tools. English communication is required; Spanish a plus. The role may require some travel between properties.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a trade with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Support maintenance supervisor and ensure safety and policy compliance.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and make-ready status of vacant apartments.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and diagnose minor repairs.
