Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to assist the maintenance supervisor and uphold the physical integrity of the property. You will work with the leasing team to maximize renewals and leasing opportunities, ensuring safety first per company policies.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in apartment maintenance or related trades, a high school diploma, EPA refrigerant certification, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a trade.
• Technical certification is a plus but not required.
• EPA refrigerant certification required.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Assist in system for handling service requests and on-call rotation.
• Maintain safety and comply with ADA, Fair Housing, OSHA, and company policies.
• Distribute flyers and materials as needed.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance and make-ready status.
• Schedule and perform minor routine maintenance on equipment.
• Inspect and maintain tools in excellent condition.
