Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead onsite kitchen operations at a rural summer camp. You will supervise prep, production, and staff, while upholding strict allergen safety and sanitation standards in a high-volume, seasonal environment.

This on-site, live-in role requires strong leadership, scratch baking experience, and comfort working with iPad-based tools, with a demanding schedule of 6 days per week and at least 70 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, and ability to navigate iPad for ordering and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee all prep and production for designated day part; ensure menu specs and scratch cooking execution.
• Strict allergen safety management and top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
