Wolfoods seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a seasonal, on-site role at rural summer camps across the US. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage a team, and uphold strict allergen safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

This live-in position requires 6 days, ~70 hours weekly, a strong leadership presence, and the ability to navigate a high-volume kitchen while ensuring quality meals for campers with diverse dietary needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role.
• ServSafe Allergens required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, cooking, able to navigate I-Pad, versatile with ingredients.
• Physical ability to stand long hours, work in hot/cold kitchen, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6‑day/70‑hour week.

Responsabilités

• Lead and train kitchen staff to foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee prep, production, portion control, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory and assist with daily reporting and budgeting.
• Act as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
