Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead restaurant operations and uphold our service standards. You will partner with the General Manager to manage schedules, forecasting, labor, and inventory while developing hourly Team Members through competency-based leadership.

You will learn to master leadership and operational skills, support financial reporting, and drive guest satisfaction while upholding CAVA’s culture and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory/management role in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in daily restaurant operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to food quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, supply orders, and cost control to protect profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing decisions for the team.
• Resolve Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards and handling concerns.
• Support financial tracking, cash handling, and budgeting adherence.
• Contribute to financial reports and performance analysis for improvement.
• Ensure food safety practices and team training on procedures.
• Handle administrative tasks like inventory and records maintenance.
• Collaborate on special projects to drive restaurant success.
