Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in running daily restaurant operations and achieving financial targets. You will lead scheduling, inventory, training, and guest service to uphold our standards and values.

Qualified candidates bring 1–2 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage costs while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage budgets and cost controls.
• Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation regulations.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and solve problems.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends, travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching and performance feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing in collaboration with the General Manager.
• Address Team Member issues and conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards and addressing customer concerns.
• Lead initiatives to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty, and support budget adherence.
