Job summary

CAVA is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and uphold our mission and standards. You will partner with the General Manager to develop action plans, manage schedules, labor, and inventory, and mentor Team Members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This role emphasizes leadership, financial oversight, and continuous improvement. Candidates should show a track record in hospitality, willingness to work nights and weekends, and a customer-service mindset

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Adapt to changing circumstances and solve problems to improve performance.
• Ability to manage budgeting and cost controls.
• Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation regulations.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, opening and closing.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Uphold high service standards and address customer concerns.
• Support with reporting and analyzing performance metrics.
