Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and Area Leader in delivering exceptional restaurant performance. You will help manage schedules, forecasting, labor, and inventory while upholding CAVA’s standards for food, service, and cleanliness.

You’ll lead and coach Team Members, participate in budgeting and financial reporting, and support with guest satisfaction and loyalty initiatives. This is a fast-paced, hands-on leadership role in a growing brand.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in hospitality.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and improve performance.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and scheduling.
• Ensure food quality, service, and cleanliness standards are met.
• Oversee inventory, supply orders, and cost control.
• Coach and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Support with staffing and conflict resolution to maintain a positive environment.
• Improve guest experience and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist with financial reporting, sales tracking, and cash handling.
• Oversee adherence to cash procedures and safety protocols.
• Support with administrative tasks and special projects.
