Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Reston, VA, to partner with the General Manager and Area Leader. You will shape store plans, forecast labor, manage inventory, and coach hourly Team Members to deliver outstanding hospitality.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant/hospitality.

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing efforts.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience by addressing concerns promptly.
• Implement strategies to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Lead by example in customer service and team motivation.
• Support financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Maintain accurate financial records and cash handling procedures.
• Oversee food safety practices and team training.
• Handle inventory and operational records.
• Prepare reports and implement action plans.
