Job summary

CAVA in the United States is seeking an Assistant General Manager to bring our mission and values to life in our restaurant. You will partner with the General Manager and Area Leader to set store action plans, analyze financial metrics, and develop hourly Team Members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of labor, wage, and food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Coach and develop Team Members through training and feedback.
• Support scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding service standards.
• Lead by example in customer service and team behavior.
• Assist with financial reporting and budgeting.
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Participate in special projects to drive restaurant success.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
