Job summary

DRG Meats Alaska LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support smooth restaurant operations in Alaska. The AGM will lead shifts, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to brand and OSHA standards while partnering with the GM on staffing and development plans.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of leadership in a restaurant, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ServSafe certification. Expect a 45-hour week with flexible availability, and a driving record acceptable for employment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 2 years of restaurant experience with proven leadership on all shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must pass the ServSafe Certification Course and Exam and maintain a current health card per local/state requirements.
• Reliable transportation, clear criminal background check, and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Average 45-hour work week with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to ensure timely completion of tasks with quality assurance.
• Coach and motivate team members and shift managers to prioritize customer experience.
• Maintain health and safety standards in line with OSHA regulations.
• Train and develop future leaders through feedback and development plans.
• Collaborate with GM to recruit, interview, and onboard new hires.
• Support GM in achieving restaurant financial goals and operational efficiency.
• Deliver 5-star customer service and support overall restaurant operations.
