Job summary

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is seeking an Assistant General Manager for an Arby's restaurant in Alaska. The AGM will support the General Manager, lead shifts, and ensure brand standards, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence across daily operations.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership, 2+ years in restaurant operations, a high school diploma, and ServSafe certification. This non-exempt role requires flexible hours, safety focus, and the ability to develop teams while

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 2 years of restaurant experience with proven leadership on all shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Must pass the ServSafe Certification Course and Exam and maintain a current health card per local/state requirements.
• Reliable transportation, clear criminal background check, and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Average 45-hour work week with flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Lead shifts and ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining quality.
• Team Leadership: Coach and motivate team members and shift managers to prioritize the customer experience.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure health and safety compliance per OSHA regulations.
• Training & Development: Contribute to leadership development and provide feedback.
• Recruiting & Onboarding: Assist in staffing and welcoming new hires.
• Financial Performance: Support GM in achieving financial goals.
• Customer Experience: Deliver 5-star service and customer satisfaction.
• General Manager Support: Assist in restaurant operations management.
