Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Sugar Land, TX to lead daily restaurant operations, coach the crew, and ensure the legendary Popeyes guest experience. You will drive performance, uphold brand standards, and foster a fast-paced, guest-first environment.

As AGM, you’ll support the Restaurant General Manager, manage labor, food costs, and safety, and play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members. This role offers growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus!).
• People-first leadership style with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Love for fast-paced environments and great food.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with managing food and labor costs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from front counter to back of house.
• Lead shifts with confidence, ensuring speed, accuracy, and guest experiences.
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
