Job summary

Miguel's Jr. Huntington Beach is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive front- and back-of-house operations, partnering with the General Manager to ensure peak performance at a busy QSR location.

This position serves as a pipeline for future General Manager roles and focuses on execution, team leadership, and development. You will coach Shift Supervisors, maintain brand standards, manage staffing and training, and uphold safety and guest service excellence while supporting profitability

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a QSR or similar environment.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English communication; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supports BOH and FOH daily operations to ensure guest service standards.
• Assists the GM with labor, food cost, inventory, and daily performance metrics.
• Leads Shift Supervisors and restaurant team members through coaching and direction.
• Promotes a guest-first culture and addresses guest concerns during shifts.
• Oversees staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and training of team members.
• Ensures daily safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies.
• Reports safety or facility concerns to the GM and ensures ServSafe standards.
