Job summary

Miguel's Restaurant in California is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support Front and Back of House operations and partner with the General Manager. This role focuses on execution, team leadership, and development, serving as a key pipeline for future General Manager roles.

The AGM will lead and support Shift Supervisors, reinforce standards, ensure safety and guest satisfaction, and drive performance metrics. A growth-focused, hands-on leader is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/management role in a QSR or similar.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, and food safety.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supports BOH and FOH daily operations to ensure consistent execution of standards and guest service.
• Assists the GM in managing labor, food cost, inventory, and daily performance metrics.
• Helps analyze operational results and supports action plans to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensures staffing and execution gaps are addressed to maintain operating readiness.
• Manages third-party delivery services and maintains quality of food and service.
• Leads Shift Supervisors and team through coaching and role modeling.
